For my first appointment I was initially seen by a staff nurse and then by two medical students, followed by Dr. Desai. He explained my pain by what he saw from my records. He made a medicine adjustment and referred me for spine X-rays. He said interventions could go from mild to surgery but side effects would increase with the amount of invasiveness. We will go over a treatment plan following my X-rays. He was very professional, thorough, and relatable.

Listens to the patient. Well studied and insightful into the challenges I face as a patient. His procedures have been effective in diminishing pain. Looks ahead toward what's next and works with patient to develop solutions that don't involve surgery or other invasive processes. I am always comfortable with him and look forward to visits because I know the discomfort and pain I experience is being effectively addressed.

I highly recommend Dr. Thakral. He was very responsive when I first injured myself, arranged for an immediate MRI, and pointed me in the right direction when I was ready for PT. He is caring, answers all questions and makes you feel that you are in good hands.
