About Sharon Carroll, MSN, FNP-BC

Sharon Carroll recently joined the team at Mountain Spine and Pain in Pulaski. She is a native of Virginia and has been a Registered Nurse for over seven years, providing
patient care in the New River and Roanoke Valleys. Sharon earned her Master of
Science in Nursing through the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Radford University and is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She has experience in critical care, orthopedics, primary care, hospice, dermatology, cardiology, and public and occupational health.

Sharon approaches patient care calmly and gently and is committed to helping those in her community achieve pain management and improvement. She prioritizes high-
quality, individualized care and shared decision-making along with interdisciplinary
collaboration for the best outcomes.

Sharon loves spending time with her family, including two spoiled dogs, Kirby and Larry Bird. She also enjoys watching sports, reading, knitting, listening to music, and
traveling, particularly to Ireland, which is her favorite destination.
